Original era manufacture. This is what I would refer to as the new model, not quite as massive as its predecessor but retaining its basic configuration. Unit marked on the guard to the 12th Company, 109th Baden Infantry, 78th weapon. The 109th Baden Infantry was the Life Guard regiment for the Grand Duchy of Baden. The blade is clean with scattered ares of old corrosion and light pitting. Bright brass hilt with unit marks on the guard. The hilt is slightly loose, no scabbard.
