Original era manufacture. Printed cotton, measuring 24 x 27 inches. The central panel displays German troops before the Arc de Triumph in Paris, while participating in a Victory parade held during the Spring of 1871. This parade was one of the German conditions of armistice which ended the war and the Siege of Paris. Around the edges are the names and dates of the German victories during the war.The textile is clean, lightly faded from age, without any stains or tears. From our own collection.
