Original period manufacture. Polished steel double edged sword with an etched design on each side, measuring 28 inches in length, running straight and true. At the base of the blade, behind the langet is the makers mark of a Ducal crown above a shield & letter Z, Clemens & Jung. Very ornate clamshell guard with a crowned shield bearing the letter L for King Ludwig. Single branch guard, with a hard composition grip. Unbroken black leather sheath with a brass throat and chape.
