Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 32.5 inches in length, with etched panels on each side of the blade stating In Treue Fest. The blade runs straight and true, with no corrosion issues or nicks in the cutting edge. Eickhorn back to back squirrel proof stamped into the reverse ricasso. Simple steel guard with pointed langets, and back strap. The pommel cap is missing revealing the blade tang. Black plastic wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. There are a few nicks in the plastic covering but not really glaring. Dent free, black painted steel scabbard which retains about 90% of it's original finish, with a few spots of garage paint added for good measure.
