Original era manufacture. Imperial era, Bavarian Cuirassier officers dress sword, maker marked by W.K.C.. The 32 inch, curved, polished steel blade runs straight and true with etched panels on each side. No corrosion issues to the surface and the point is sharp. Simple steel single bow guard and pommel, fish skin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. Black painted steel scabbard, with the original paint finish remaining at about 80%. Typical denting along it's length, however the sword draws easily. Single suspension ring, with both scabbard throat retention screws in place. While the blade fits this scabbard, I feel it is not the correct one for the sword as the guard to throat fit is a bit off center.
