German Imperial Era, Bavarian State Civil Service Sword with Leather Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Lion head sword with mother of pearl grip plates, double etched steel blade measuring 32 inches in length, with a Steinem & Co. Wurzburg retailers logo. The blade runs straight and true with gilded etched panels on each side. Ornate gilded brass guard, lion head pommel with red glass eyes. Gilded brass fittings on the black leather bodied scabbard. There is a crease in the scabbard leather but unbroken as yet but it will need to be seen to.
