Original era manufacture. Contract pattern bayonet, the blade of which has been shortened at some point to a 9.5 inch length. Once having a plated finish, now polished steel. Chrome plated guard and pommel with an operable lock button, original finish wood grips. WWII black leather RBN marked frog in good repair, Imperial era steel mounted black leather scabbard, with an Imperial crown proof on the reverse of the chape. Clean bayonet.
