Original era manufacture. Massive old hunting Hirschfanger, with a 22 inch plain steel blade of polished steel. Even patina surface finish to the blade.Black painted steel clamshell guard, with an s-shaped quillon with dog heads on each side. Matching finish pommel cap with a thick stag horn grip between.Black bodied leather scabbard, with a black painted brass throat with an acorn frog stud, and a black painted steel chape.Clean, normal age and wear.
