Original period manufacture. Double sided 35 mm coin, marked Silber 990 on the rim, dated 5 August 1914. I believe this coin honors the re-establishment of the Iron Cross as a military award after the declaration of war on Russia and France on 1st & 3rd August respectively. Silver patina finish.
