German Imperial Era, Elaborate Miners Watch Fob

Original era manufacture. A very elaborate watch chain, as worn by a gentleman who presumably worked as a miner in some capacity.It measures 12.5 inches (33 cm) in length, consisting of numerous linked segments, with enameled panels in red-white-black, wishing Good Luck. At center is a royal crown above crossed hammers, and at bottom what is either a miner's lamp, or, perhaps a cage for a canary.There are no markings that we could find, and we haven't tested it for silver, so we will call it constructed of German silver. No enamel damage, just light wear and use, it is really a very nice old thing.
