Original era manufacture. Etched 13.25 inch polished steel blade, displaying a mottled finish but no pitting. Eickhorn squirrel logo on the ricasso. Heavy nickel alloy guard, ferrule and pommel, with fire helmet and crossed axes on the obverse of the guard. Black leather covered grip, bound with double strand wire. No scabbard.
