Original era manufacture. A very clean example in printed wool, measuring 3 x 5 feet, with a white canvas hoist, halyard loops have been removed. This example, represents the last pattern of the German Navy War Flag, originally adopted in 1867, and in continuous use until 1919.It is quite clean, with a few pin-hole moth bites, but nothing dreadful, no great stains of tears.
