Original period manufacture. The barrel and receiver match, 6545, Suhl Arsenal 1877, and stamped again in 1882. Bolt action, single shot carbine in 10.4 mm. Bright metal displaying a variety of serial numbers and Imperial proof marks. Original finish stock with numerous proof marks on the right side stock face, and on the underside as well. No cracks or large chips in the wood, just the typical dings and dents that you see on old weapons similar to this example. The bolt mechanism works as it should, brightish bore with good rifling, needs a good cleaning. Unit marked on the buttplate to a Bavarian Train (Supply) Battalion. US SALES ONLY
