Original era manufacture. An issue quality bayonet with Weyersberg-Kirschbaum name on the ricasso.The blade is bright, with minimal areas of age staining to the surfaces, no corrosion pitting, and the point remains quite sharp. Pleasing even steel patina to the guard, with a mellow brass patina finish to the grip. No unit markings or acceptance proofs on the blade.
