Original era manufacture. A service quality bayonet, identical to an issue example but without any crown proofs or unit numbers.Polished steel blade which is unsharpened, with scattered age staining along its length, but no corrosion pitting. Steel patina finish to the guard, nice brass patina finish to the grip.Very sound black leather bodied scabbard with tight stitching and again a pleasing brass patina finish to the throat and chape.
