Original era manufacture. Standard pattern foot officers sword with a 29.5 inch polished steel blade. The blade surface is clean, unsharpened, with no nicks in the cutting edge. Gilded steel folding guard and pommel cap, with little of the gilding remaining. Sound, original leather sword know wrapped around the guard. Black plastic wrapped grip, bound with triple strand wire.Black painted steel scabbard with most of the original finish remaining, scattered denting along its length.
