Original era manufacture. A very fine quality bronze badge which can either be worn as a pinback, or on a neck chain.  German 1847 numbered Sterling Red Cross Medal, No. 2330. Measures 40 mm in width, missing the horizontal attaching pin, showing enamel damage on the obverse.
