German Imperial Era Officers Uberrock & Trousers

Original era manufacture. Knee length, dark green doeskin wool coat, single breasted with slightly domed plain brass buttons. Black velvet collar and cuffs, with red piping down the front, at the top of the cuffs and both sides of the collar.White silk lined sleeves, with a full body lining in green cloth. There are loops on the upper left chest for a medal bar, and loops below for a badge, perhaps an Iron Cross. The coat has been taken in on both sides about an inch, and now is about a 40 long. While there is minimal mothing evident, the top of the collar in the back displays considerable wear and fraying. The shoulder strap buttons are replacements. The trousers are of a black gabardine material with a thin red wool stripe down the outside of each leg. Two front slash pockets, no hip pockets, with an adjustable half belt in the back. Overall the trousers are in clean condition, with a waistband of 35 inches, and an inseam of 30 inches. Please note the Shako is not included in the price, we placed it there to keep our maniquins head warm.
