Original era manufacture. A very well made ceramic allegorical statue of the Iron Chancellor, forging the sword. It stands 11.5 inches in height, with a polychrome finish, and he is dressed as a blacksmith forging the sword of unity for the German nation. In his left hand he holds a removable iron sword, and in his right he holds a hammer resting on the anvil of Unity. Overall the statue has a very nice vintage patina to it, with the only minor flaw being that the horn of the anvil has a chip, which has been nicely blended over with the remainder of the anvil.Very clear makers mark on the base.
