Original era manufacture. A triple etched polished steel blade, presenting a gray patina finish. Faint etched panels on each side of the blade, and laurel leaves on the spine. The blade measures 32 inches in length, with a few, very small nicks in the cutting edge. There is a slight bend to the left about 8 inches back from the point.Chrome finished guard, backstrap and pommel, with the initials LM engraved on the reverse langet. Fishskin wrapped grip which is bound with triple strand wire.Black painted steel scabbard with a few very shallow and small dents to the surface, most of the original paint finish is intact.
