Original era manufacture. Stamped brass wide spread wing eagle with a voided crown and nice detail. White metal guard star attached thin brass brads, while the star is original, it may be a replacement as there are extra holes drilled in the eagles wings for other attachment brads.Two mounting posts with square nuts on the reverse, measuring 70 mm between the posts. The helmet plate is still curved to fit a helmet.
