Original era manufacture. Fine quality porcelain stein of a type purchased by a soldier at the end of his compulsory 2 year enlistment.  The stein stands 12.5 inches in height, with a lithopane bottom and a decorative pewter lid. The stein is very sound, no cracks or chips.  A very handsome looking 115 year old bier stein.
