Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 27 inches in length, triple etched, with floral designs and the royal Wurttemberg coat of arms on each side. The blade runs straight and true, with one shallow nick in the cutting edge. Knights head proof on the ricassoBrass guard, backstrap and ferrule with a mellow brass patina, black composition covered wooden grip bound with triple strand wire.Black painted steel scabbard, few very minor surface dents, and about 90% of the original finish remains.I call this a cadet sword because of its length, could have been a really short officer as well.
