Original era manufacture. A well made pair of slip-on shoulder boards with heavy gold wire uppers and red wool underlay. Attached to the center of each board is a silver colored Maltese cross, symbol of the Johanniter, the charities of St.John. Gilt finished fixed buttons at the top of each display the same cross. Mothing to the underside of the wool, normal age and wear otherwise.
