Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool waffenrock with white facings, yellow litzen and gold tombak buttons.The tunic is very clean, no moth issues to speak of, just some minor wear to the stitched decoration on the top of the shoulder straps. Full black cloth body lining with half belt, again with no damage.There were only three battalions of sea-going infantry in the Imperial Navy, this example represents an NCO from the IInd Battalion, which along with the 1st, served in China during the Boxer Rebellion.Size about a 40 regular.
