Original era manufacture. Very clean plated steel blade measuring 31.5 inches in length with a bright finish along it's length. Runs straight and true, with a WKC double head trademark. No nicks in the cutting edge or corrosion issues. Ornate, cast gilded brass grip with a lion head pommel with red glass eyes. Crossed cannon on the obverse langet. Black plastic wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. Black painted steel scabbard with a single carrying ring. One side of the scabbard has a shiny black surface, the other surface corrosion toning. We have not made any effort to clean the scabbard, but the application of a little elbow-grease should improve things. One dent below the carrying ring, the throat and both screws are present. The sword itself is very nice, the scabbard needs a bath.
