Original era manufacture. Massive all steel construction sword with a 32 inch polished steel curved blade which draws easily from the scabbard. Simple leather covered ribbed wooden grip with an fairly intact covering, showing some light surface scuffing. Steel patina scabbard with two carrying rings, minor amount of surface denting and surface corrosion. A nice mix of unit markings appear on the weapon, most identify a provision transportation unit. A wonderful old sword with no issues beyond normal age and wear.
