German M1811 Blucher Pattern Sword, Unit Marked

Original era manufacture. Massive Blucher pattern sword with a clean 32.5 inch polished steel blade. The blade runs straight and true exhibiting a cleaned surface, with evidence of an old service sharpening, and no nicks in the cutting edge. Steel patina finish guard and pommel with wear to the surface of the black leather wrapped grip,Unit marked on the guard, R.A.M. 19.29, 29th weapon (reserve Army Ammunition Column). Unit markings also appear on the scabbard, just below the throat, A.M. VIII. 3. 93.  Fairly dent free, cleaned steel patina finish scabbard with both carrying rings present, scattered surface corrosion towards the drag.
