Original era manufacture. Silver alloy eagle, of a pattern introduced in 1860, and used relatively unchanged up to around 1895 when the enlisted wappen was reduced in size.Note the web of metal between the bottom of the eagle's wing and top of the leg. The eagle top on the scepter has an old solder repair, but blends well. Two screw-post mounting points on the reverse, measuring 80 mm between the holes. Nice old silver alloy patina finish.
