Original period manufacture. Chromed steel blade measuring 30 inches in length with the Eickhorn trademark on the reverse ricasso. No issues with the blade, just light wear and use. Gilded brass folding guard with the Wurttemberg coat-of-arms, leather finger loop is intact and the royal cypher on the pommel. Black plastic wrapped grip bound with triple brass wire. The wire is intact, no loose ends, but some of the strands need to be pushed back into proper alignment. Blue steel finished scabbard with a single carrying ring and unit marked to the 180th Regiment (Wurttemberg Nr.10). There are a few shallow dents along its length and it is pinched a bit near the throat, but overall the finish is very nice for its age.
