A large format book published to honor the life of Kaiser Wilhelm I, 1793-1888.The book displays many B/W illustrations and woodcuts which detail the life and history of a man who himself was a veteran of the wars against the first Napoleon, and a veteran of Waterloo, being awarded the Iron Cross First Class.Measuring 11x8x.5 inches with a nicely embossed cover with gilt decoration, 170 pages, some of which are loose.
