Original era manufacture. French style brass grip with unit marks on the crossguard. 22 inch single edged blade showing a dark patina finish. Faint makers marks on the ricasso by Luneschloss. We added a period leather scabbard to the weapon, it fits well enough and is of the time, but is not correct. The upper fitting is loose and needs to be restapled.
