Original period manufacture. Identical to the German service bayonet but with a Peruvian crest on the top of the pommel and serial numbers on the guard and scabbard frog stud. Even steel patina finish to the blade, with some light scattered staining from age and wear. Darkened steel patina to the guard and pommel, lock button works properly, light marring to the grip plates. Black leather bodied scabbard, the seam of which has opened up towards the tip about  two inches.
