Original era manufacture. A well made bayonet with a blue finish to the blade, guard and pommel. Eleven inch blade in good repair, with a faint makers name on the obverse ricasso. Normal age and wear to the blade finish, but overall very clean. Simple wood grips secured by two steel screws, serial number on the pommel. Blue finish, dent free, steel scabbard with most of its original finish remaining.Sound original black leather frog. Muzzle opening measures 16 mm, short stud slot.
