Original era manufacture. A very solid condition, brass bodied drum withpainted wooden rims in black and red (faded to an orange color) for the Kingdom of Wurttemberg. The playing head has asmall tear inthe skin whilebottom head is intact. Red wool covered leg brace and an original leather shoulder sling which has the embroidered date of 1880 stitched into the strap. Normal age and wear overall. No markings onthe brass body that we could see.
