Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Wehrmacht ammunition box, made in Poland prior to September 1, 1939,  made of steel, handle latch and hinge work properly. SIGMA on the top of the lid and a date of 1937. There is an original ordnance gray paint finish on the surface, with looks to be a Finnish army property stamp on the top of the lid, SA.
