Original era manufacture. A high quality die stamped silver star with an enameled obverse. The reverse displays a screwback attaching disc and the star itself is maker marked and silver content stamped 925. An example of this award may be seen on page 71, figues 1& 3, of Orders & Decorations of Germany 1871-1945 by Niemann. No enamel damage, pleasing silver patina finish. Measures 55 mm across.
