Original era manufacture. Bronze, 38 mm medal with a design of a sailor holding a flag on the obverse, the reverse displays the profile of a U-Boot.Parade Mount red-white-black ribbon. See page 114, figure 2.02.13a in Orders & Decorations of Germany 1871-1945 by Nieman. Missing the mounting pin and metal backing to the ribbon.
