Original era manufacture. In an the early 1950's these replica second model Luftwaffe daggers began to appear in Germany. Assembled from left over parts, with new made blades. These, and similar marked SA daggers, were sold to GI's eager for a souvenir from their time in Germany. Decent quality dagger with the typical replica makers marks on the blade. Makes a great letter opener. Complete with scabbard.
