Original era manufacture. Boy, do I remember these, seeing them advertised in the old gun magazines back in the early 1970's. I wanted one in the worst way, but just couldn't see my way clear to get the $50 dollar (that's the price I remember) money order organized to send off for one. Too many $80 single decal German army helmets around, they seemed to suck the money right out of my wallet. Regardless, these are certainly the gold standard of the non-gun MP40's. Well made, good weight; It cocks, and the bolt moves forward when the trigger is pulled. MP40 MGC 68 marked on the back of the receiver, JAPAN stamped on the bottom of the trigger guard. The folding stock works properly, and the original MGC68 marked magazine is present. Original 2-hole, K98 rifle type sling is included. There is a threaded nut supposed to be on the front of the barrel, this one is missing. US SALES ONLY
