Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the first pattern steel helmet adopted by the German Bundesgrenschutz after WWII. Unlike the second pattern helmet, M35/53, this helmet closely mimics the WWII M1940 model.The helmet is complete with its original chinstrap and liner (size marked 59) with two decals; one in national colors and the other displaying the coat of arms of the city of Hamburg. Very clean condition displaying light wear and use.
