Original era manufacture. This rather intriguing buckle, consists of a cast solid brass Police cap eagle, which has been soldered to an oval silver backing plate. Definitely a homemade piece.Measures 77 mm in width, the eagle has come loose from the backing plate, needing just a spot of epoxy to hold it into position.
