Original era manufacture. Black wool covered, molded fibre body, with matching material front and rear visors. Bright aluminum segmented chinstrap which is leather backed, and has a thin leather connecting strap and buckle.Large, bright aluminum wappen, with a separately applied alloy emblem at center which we have identified as Nordrhein-Westfalen. Removable Gold-Black-Red field badge, done in the WWII style.Simple brown leather liner with a matching material adjusting strap. The helmet is quite sound, and very presentable looking. There is a moth bite on the rear of the helmet body, and the rear visor is pinched a bit from age.
