Original era manufacture. Polished steel, curved blade mounted sword measuring 30 inches in blade length. The blade runs straight and true, with no sharpening or corrosion, still in original polish, few shallow nicks in the cutting edge. Marked on the spine Crown W 07. Leather covered ribbed wooden grip with no cracks or chips, dark steel patina finish the guard and pommel, no corrosion issues. Unit marked on the guard, R.A.M.21,68 (Reserve Ammunition Column, 21, 68th Weapon). Steel patina finished steel scabbard with a sizable dent just below the suspension loop, this does not hinder the blade from being removed, or inserted. Unit marked, 18.A.4.53 (possible 18th Field Artillery, 4th Battery, 53rd Weapon).
