Original era manufacture. "The finest regiment in all Christendom", or so the saying goes. Silver buttons throughout with number 3 on the epaulette buttons, which indicates 1st Battalion, whose soldiers wore the "Semper Talis" bandeau on their pickelhaubes. Dark blue wool bodied tunic with red Swedish cuffs with Garde Litzen. Tall red wool collar with the large Garde Litzen. Full lining with numerous issue stamps and dated 1903. There are some scattered moth issues, nothing really serious, the worst of which can be observed on the back of the right cuff. Some of the interior seams of the lining have opened up a bit, generally around the sleeve opening. Overall a clean looking tunic in about a size 38/40 Long.
