Original era manufacture. 32 inch chromed steel blade with etched panels on each side of the blade. The obverse of the blade shows the honorific title of the 3rd Brandenburg Field Artillery Rgt, General Feldzeugmeister and on the reverse a mounted artilleryman with floral and military emblems. The blade is straight and clean but does show some minor lifting of the plating in the form of spotting. Chrome plated steel guard and pommel with some scattered spots of dark surface corrosion. Fishskin wrapped grip in good repair with triple wire binding. Black painted steel scabbard displays an old repaint, possibly of the era. Nice sword overall.
