Original era manufacture. Tin lithographed cigarette box measuring 120 x 63 x 25 mm, with the image of Prinz Heinrich of Prussia on the lid. Normal age and wear as shown.In 1902 Prince Heinrich traveled to New York to sail the US built yacht Meteor back to Germany and its new owner, his older brother Kaiser Wilhelm II. Christened by Miss Alice Roosevelt, daughter of the the President Teddy Roosevelt, the launching was a national sensation; with Prince Heinrich being given the keys to the cites of New York and Philadelphia during his tour.
