Original era manufacture. Blue wool body, with red wool piping, and a black wool band. Prussian and national cockades at front. White cotton lining with numerous markings including a 1902 date.The hat shows considerable age and wear in the form of mothing, most of which occurs on the top of the hat. Only one hole is visible, but crazing to the surface material is evident.Nicely named and dated.
