Original era manufacture. A near new condition pre-WWI German Army NCO Artillery-Technical Troops visor hat with its original storage/sales box. Dark blue wool body with red piping, black wool band. Oilcloth sweatband with a white silk lining. No mothholes to report but some crazing can be seen on the body of the hat. The hat is not out of round or crushed. The painted national and Prussian Kokardes are nearly perfect. The paper hat box is fairly sound and has a wonderful logo on its removable lid. The body has a puncture at the bottom but looks to be repairable. Included with the hat at the time of our purchase were two pair of enlisted white dress gloves. A great old hat in a condition that we seldom see anymore.
