Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 34 inches in length, with an etched panel on each side displaying the Bavarian motto, "In Treue Fest". The blade is clean, no edge nicks and runs fairly straight and true.Chrome finished steel guard and pommel, with about 50% of the finish remaining, the balance being dark steel patina. Black painted wood grip, looks to be fairly recent.Chrome finished steel scabbard with a single carrying ring, with a mix of chrome finish and steel patina, and a sizable dent just below the carrying ring.
